Southwark Cathedral is London's oldest Gothic church.

Originally a Priory, then Parish Church, now Cathedral. Historic links with William Shakespeare and US university benefactor, John Harvard. Many interesting memorials including a 17th century doctor famous for his cure-all pills. There is a Cathedral Shop and Refectory Restaurant - open daily. 5 daily acts of worship.
