Discover the greatest stories from the greatest city at the museum that tells the fascinating story of London through the ages.
The Museum of London uses stunning artefacts, interactive displays and immersive reconstructions to show you the past, present and future of the city. Explore iconic moments from London's history, from the Roman city of Londinium, to the Great Fire of London, to the present day. Take a stroll through our atmospheric Victorian street, relive the excitement of the 2012 Olympic Games in our dramatic Olympic Cauldron display, and have a look in our specially recreated Saxon home, where you can find out what it was like to live back in the 5th century.
Not only that, but the museum also offers activity packs for families, free tours daily, two cafes, a restaurant where kids eat free*, and a shop selling an extensive range of souvenirs to help you find the perfect London gift.
The museum is located in the oldest part of the city with a range of arts and culture right on our doorstep – make sure you explore all of Culture Mile after your trip, where from Farringdon to Moorgate you can find inspiring events for all the family in unexpected places.
*Available for each child accompanied by an adult ordering a main course from the a la carte menu.
